About the role
Melanie Grant NYC is seeking an exceptional Master Aesthetician for our private New York studio. This is a rare seat: a beautifully appointed treatment space and an elite clientele drawn from Melanie Grant's global following and the Upper East Side's most discerning skin-health community.
This role is built for a world-class practitioner who wants to do what they do best — deliver transformative results and build deep client relationships. Your focus is entirely on your craft, your clients, and your book.
What you'll do
- Deliver bespoke, results-driven clinical facials using advanced modalities, including microcurrent, custom peels, LED, ultrasound, microdermabrasion and our best in class backbar.
- Build and grow a loyal clientele, bringing your existing following into the Melanie Grant world, while also leveraging our loyal MG following
- Curate personalized skincare regimens and lead premium retail consultations across our luxury house lines, including brands such as Biologique Recherche, Valmont and Augustinus Bader, supported by our retail partnership with Violet Grey.
- Host editorial and press days, acting as the studio's technical authority for top-tier beauty editors and skin-health influencers.
Working independently
This is a self-directed role for someone who takes full ownership of their practice and their space. The successful candidate must be able to:
- Work autonomously and independently, managing their own schedule, bookings, and client communications.
- Maintain the studio to the highest standard, with impeccable hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the treatment space.
- Keep the backbar inventory stocked, organized, and beautifully presented.
- Open and close the studio on their working days and manage client flow from intake through follow-up.
- Uphold Melanie Grant's protocols, standards, and client experience at all times.
Compensation & benefits
- Base salary: Competitive base, commensurate with experience
- Service commission: Commission on service revenue
- Retail commission: Commission on retail sales through our Violet Grey partnership
- Annual Bonus: Annual Bonus Scheme
- Your earnings scale directly with the practice you build.

Requirements
What we're looking for
- An accomplished, licensed aesthetician with a proven track record in luxury or clinical skincare.
- An established NYC client following that you're excited to bring with you.
- Deep technical fluency across advanced treatments.
- A natural consultative seller who believes great retail recommendations are an extension of great care.
- A self-directed professional who thrives with autonomy and takes pride in a fully booked, high-performing practice.
- Experience with Biologique Recherche products and protocols is an advantage
